4. Black Heritage Series (1987): A single commemorative stamp honoring Jean Baptiste Point Du Sable, the frontier trader widely recognized as the founder of Chicago.
5. Performing Arts Series (1987): A magenta-bordered single honoring the legendary operatic tenor Enrico Caruso.
